Review:
Mmm...naked Methos *drools* Okay, loved the Duncan POV. Especially seeing his disbelief @ the age of Methos...would he crap his pants to know Buffy's age? & I love that Buffy & Methos are married, yet so not joined @ the hip. Wonderful, wonderful update! One update left to read! *toddles off to read Purge & Pray update that she's been saving up to savor*

Review of chapter "Beer" from DeepRed
Review:
"You're married to the oldest living immortal?" Duncan asked, his eyes still wide in shock.
Methos grinned sending a sly wink towards Buffy, "Yes."
Duncan shook his head hard, never realizing that Methos wasn't answering for Buffy that he was in fact answering the question for himself.

I couldn't help but continue this scene in my head. I could just imagine Methos taking great delight in answering an open question like that with a bit of hidden truth. Great chapter, can't wait for the next installment.

Review of chapter "Fairy Tale" from Amai
Review:
My favorite chapter:

7. Famine. I just want to hug him.

The rest of them... all also excellent. Although I didn't really understand the amulet thing.

Can't wait for the rest.
Comments from author:
Weeeeell, better late than never, right?

The amulet thing works like this: Buffy got sent into the past but doesn't know how. But by the time she gets back to the present (as an immortal) she realizes that she sent herself (her younger self) back in time. So she closes the cycle by finding the amulet and putting it on the younger Buffy so she'll be sent back in time an eventually land back in the present to send herself back again and... okay. I can see how that would confuse you.

Thanks for reviewing.

This is an amazing, insightful, fabulously written series.. I love where you're going with this and I can't wait to read more...reminds me of all the shorts I've been writing since a friend of mine lent me some of the old Highlander seasons...keep up the great work!

Review of chapter "Weapon" from draconis
Review:
I've not read enough yet to really form a valid opinion about the writing, but I can indicate that the (so far) seemingly increasingly pointless "+"-symbol flourishes detract from the read. Possibly more irritating for the visually impaired, but they are just something that doesn't seem to add anything to the story.
===============================================

Response and update:
I've read a few more chapters now, and the "+" usage is much improved. Doesn't seem quite so arbitrary now.

I also like the style. It's like listening to their inner dialogues without using the artificial "POV" labels, yet still benefits from the occassional external narrative.
Comments from author:
The + are my scene breaks. I like breaking things up into small bits. They make things choppy and I like choppy. Sorry if that irritates you but it's just something I do. And I'm pretty sure connecting the separate scenes into fewer, longer scenes would cause awkward jumps in the story.

But I'll definitely go and check my + ratio per story now.

Ta

EDIT: I'm glad you revised your opinion. Thank you for commenting.

Review of chapter "Fairy Tale" from solidstate
Review:
Wow, two stories in as many days? Very nice, beautiful and funny in turn. Your story Circle was really exceptional - and I love the treatment of time travel (which is the only way time travel makes sense, IMO).

Review of chapter "Cinders" from silentia
Review:
I truly love this series. You don't develop much your drabbles, however each one is so intriguing that I can't help but dream of a whole universe. I especially love all Buffy / Methos interactions. And I can't wait to read all this stories you allude to in your summary.

Ha! Loved it! A little silly, but I like silly. & I loved Buffy/Sun/Summer getting mad that Darius pushed her face in the snow. It gave me a nice little giggle. Oh, & sorry that I had a brain fart earlier. I swear, sometimes I type faster than my brain can process. :) Fantastic, as always, dear.
