Yep. Now if people would payu atteniton to what I say, we'd be great. If I sate a character is so and so's parent that normally means i moved the time line of the mummy to the present day...

Wouldn't Dr. Bey have to be in his 90s or over 100 years old by this point? After all, the events of the Mummy took place in the 1930s, and there was no indication that the Medji were anything other than normally aging humans.

I did state that I had updated the Mummy to modern times.

It definitely seems like something Halfrek(justice demon over lost childhoods) might have caused. A wish but with a firm price tag, where everything that Xander gets he gets honestly. This is a good solid story and a wonder what sort of mystical smack down this Aredeth and Xander might use if Willow tries to force her will. Personally considering the way the Madjai were formed and what they guard I would say the D'Hoffryn and his ilk would have a firm respect for them. I can sort of imagine Willow calling for vengeance only for the Demon called to laugh in her face at the very though of touching a Madjai let alone touching the lines of Wisdom or Authority.

Very smooth and a lot cleaner than some of the other ones that have a slightly clunky flow,

I get better with each story I do.
I think the vengeance demons would be scared more than repsectful seeing what the Medjai did in vengeance for someone trying to raise the dead. that's scarier than anything they've ever done.

the mystical smack down will be not being bound but having her magic stripped, totally stripped as in no logner there, at all.

This story is not too bad. I only have one suggestion. In chapter 3 I would have liked to see a flashback showing Xander asking Willow for advice, and for it to make him look like a fool and Willow good. I do wonder how you are going to portray Faith in the next chapter, and I would like to see Ardeth's reaction to her.

Ardeth, when he sees Faith, will be thinking "A warrior...a bit wild perhaps, but a true warrior."

and Willow was spiefulw ith crody in episode one. I was a nerd and picked on and teased in High School and no matter how much I hated the popular kids who picke don me I never woudl have told them to delete a whole week or more of work by saying send was 'Del.'

Xander's just been thinking about how many times he gave asnwers that she gave him that the teacher said were from a comic book or something because they were so incorect they ahd to be.

"Did you read your comics nad not your text book again?" is basically what her advice got him.
