Great story so far and I'd love to read more, but I also want to mention the 6 inch leg thing...

I just double checked on my daughter who, admittedly is two, not 18 months and is also a bit tall for her age, but her inseam is 11 inches right now, if you measure her leg to her hip it's around 17 inches... When she was born she was nearly 21 inches long and her legs take up a good 1/3 of the body, so her legs at BIRTH would have been 6 or 7 inches long.

It doesn't really matter, but I just thought I'd mention it.

Either way, great story! I hope to read more of these to suppliment the time between Sudden Changes postings. *hint hint*

I like this story and "Sudden Changes" but I don't usually do reviews because I suck like that, however I had to point out something that really made me laugh:

"Chris ran to his room as fast as his six-inch legs would allow him to."

The mental image of an eighteen month old with six-inch legs was not something I was prepared for. Other than that, I'm really looking forward to more.

heh, i thought of Chris like a rather small child; i don't know if 18 month olds are usally that small at that age but i do know this little girl from a karate group i go to who is six years old but she's really tiny and looks about the average 2 or 3 yr old height- she's so cute!
