Okay I love this fic. I had to reread it because I couldn't remember what this was about. I do have to say though that you do have a lot of grammar errors in these two chapters. To prevent this from happening you can try reading the chapter out loud after you type it before you post it. I love the fact that Willow is being nice to Snape and has shown Malfoy that things can be different. I really really have to wonder who Willow's biological parents are and why they gave her up. More soon of this wonderful fic please.

It really is pretty jarring that Willow's supposed to be sixteen. Wouldn't it have made more sense if she was 19 as she was supposed to be, but part of how the spell went kablooey was that it shaved a few years off of her?

I love this fic so far. You do have some spelling and I think some grammar errors but I am not positive about the grammar part. I absolutely LOVE the fact that Willow named the owl Buffy that is just awesome. I think that you are both very clever and evil to stop this chapter at this point. Please please update this wonderful fic again soon.

Nice beginning. Lots of little hints of things to be followed up later.

Be nice if she went to Ravenclaw, it's the perfect place for Willow at that time in her life, not quite so much the hero (or hero's sidekick) and not yet corrupted by the magic and power. I don't think there was anything in her at that time that would put her in Slytherin.

And to have Giles as a mentor again, with him not knowing how she knows him so well would be fun.

As for pairings, if it comes to that. Well Remus is so Oz like and like she said "a fellow nerd". Or to sort of pay tribute to how the cannon story went at this point she could start to develop feeling for Narcissa, that's one I've never seen done before. Be interesting to see which way you go.

Great beginning. I have a feeling that she's going to be sorted to Slytherin from the way the hat was talking, though I don't think that would go over well in the Slytherin common rooms with her being muggle born and all.
