Very nice! "Cats" is one of my favorite musicals :-) I for one would really like it if you expanded this...and you DID say in the story that ALL the cats would watch out for them!

Loves story because it's about Cats. Loves it even more because of the easy interaction between the Summers girls and Quaxo/Misto. And has declared it awesomeness indeed because it was exactly what I needed to start off the month.

I am thinking on which Cats show up other than Munk and Tugger. Jerrie maybe? Teaser? Deuteronomy may. Especially if Quaxo does what he has to do to save both girls

I really liked Cats, and the magical Mr. Mystofles is perfect for helping the Scoobies.

Aww, this is a cute story. I'd love to see a second chapter. Heh, it would be interesting if Willow plays with the magics a bit and accidentally turns one or more of the cats into people, or at least cat-people. heh

I get the impression fromt he musical Jellicles can already do that. And if she does Misto will have to slap her magically.

Chapter 2 is calming Xander down a bit and explaining about Quaxo but never his real name.

Good integration. I like how Mr. Mistoffelees was added to the show as well as how Joyce was escorted to the next great adventure in the company of someone she knew. This was a good place to stop for this arc.

well, so far I have three people asking for more. I think some of the others may turn up but I'm not sure who cna hear them. as I said I don't think Willow for once. She ALWYAS gets to hear the magical things. but maybe Giles, maybe Xadner although misto hasn't been so nice to Anya.

A most touching story. You've done well here - and easily left it open for more of the Cats to appear.

Minor nit: it's "Heaviside Layer", not "Heavy Side Layer" - it's a reference to a real layer of the atmosphere that was just being identified and characterized at the time of the writing of the original poems.

However, I can just see the Rum-Tum-Tugger getting into it with Spike - or Mungojerrie & Rumpleteaser putting their talents to work at various times - or McCavity breaking the laws of Magic to help handle The First.

And, of course, Jenny Anydots helping keep things running smoothly in the household once the Potentials start arriving.

I actually have it Heavyside in the document, don't know why it changed. McCavity is a bad Cat I think but Misto may be able to handle it by handling the person who blew that balance. that was Willow, by the way but i think the implication was that Mr. Mistoffelees was more powerful than any human magic user so that should be easy for him.

Tugger may come looking for the kitten he kept an eye on and Jerrie would likely come along for fun, him and Teaser. I'm thinking on if Munk shows or not since he's the protector and Misto has been gone for a while. That and they all remeber Joyce as a friend. When Misto got sick, Joyce took him ot the junkyard for the Jellicle Ball that's why she was invited. Thinking who else leanrs to hear them. So far only Buffy and Dawn...and Anya when Misto wants to play with her. I don't know if WIllow should or not becuase it seems it's always all about her if it's Magic. Giles may if only because Ethan may have menitone dit when they were stoned once upon a time. Don't know about Xander or if he'd like Misto's thoughts on him at times. Misto is one of those nion-humans with magic that's picking on his friends (Well, girl friend) even thought she 'diid' ask for it. Let me know what ya think.
