I love your plot! Its well thought out and it flows-it is not a bunch of facts thrown at you.

I'm almost surprised that it took this long for Faith to crack, but then again, she really is tough. She's the kind of girl who likes breakdowns to be quiet, personal, and away from watchful eyes. So good job! ^_^ Your rendition of Faith is very good. I love this chapter and I like that Faith is...for lack of better words, intrigued/attracted to Thranduil. And I fully understand that it is in a very platonic sense. I aboslutely can't wait for the next chapter and I'll be watching avidly for the next update. Please don't keep us waiting too long! Ta!

Like! Since there are no elf-kids anymore, I expect a vast throng of elleths to descend upon the Poor Abandoned Waif, much to her annoyance ... all determined to take care of her. She'll be lucky to escape their clutches when Gandalf leaves...
Later on (by the way) he should be very interested in English, especially when he finds out there's a written form, and she' literate in it. He can keep notes that nobody else can read or send her messages etc...
Huh. I wonder if there are any root words he'd recognize...have to think about that. Probably not....elvish is kinda/sorta based on Finnish not English....
Hm, he has a great memory so when he does learn English he's going to realize what she was saying those first days. heh heh (ie cursing etc)
