As I mentioned in the author's note, this was written for an angst fan, so I made it sad. I was kinda bummed when I finished it.

Lovely and sad. Well done.

Yeah, it kind of made me sad when I was writing it.

Unlike the Willow story, no matter how much he loves her, the love he could feel for Willow would pale in comparison to his love for his family.

But yeah, sad.
