When Sam goes off on his whole "I'm going to college" kick... he can use Riley, Buffy, Willow and Tara to prove that he can also go to college AND hunt.

funny---though when the truth comes out, Joyce/John might be feeling some strain in the relationship (being lied to etc) ...
And Sam/Dean / John have a lot of misinformation about vamps--dead man's blood kills 'em etc; ie different type of demon...
Still, they're great at dealing with incorporeal evil (who knows maybe they could help with the First Evil someday). Joyce told Giles? Ouch! Just like in Season 3---
Hm---if they find out Oz is a werewolf... based on the show, they think that means they HAVE to kill him, since they 'know' werewolves can't control themselves and go all evil and stuff--

Oz's werewolf-ness is just one of the many things that will test this "momentary" truce between Buffy and Dean. It will soon be unravelled and we'll see how the adults will deal with the truth once it comes out and can't keep the Hellmouth from being "public knowledge" as far as the Winchesters are concerned. :)

I'm still enjoying this mightily. I find it a little hard to believe that Joyce would ground her college-aged daughter for fighting with her step-brother, but I really like Buffy and Dean's perspectives on things and hope you update soon! I'm actually really looking forward to the Winchesters finding out that Buffy's the slayer. And I'm a tiny bit surprised that Joyce hasn't asked Buffy to consider telling them- it would be to their benefit to know about the dangerous things in Sunnydale, and I can't think that Joyce would want to start a marriage off with lies...even if the truth DOES sound crazy. John keeping hunting a secret is easy to see, though- until he feels like Joyce needs to know how to shoot a gun and salt doors to stay safe.

Hard to believe they don't know about Sunnydale, it wouldn't take much internet searching to find some stuff out. I've always thought there was a 'pay no attention' spell there.
Poor Dean--looked to his dad like he was hitting a girl. Heh. At least Buffy can cite the whole "Ted" thing as grounds for suspicion..... though come to think of it they probably never did tell Joyce what was really up with Ted.
Maybe it's time for Joyce to stop keeping secrets from the Winchesters?

The Hellmouth evilfree? doubtfully, probably Buffy that beats Dean to everything and keeps it evilfree because she killed said evil. The fighting was funny, can't wait to see the hell Buffy and Dean will get from respective parents. and the hell they'll give each other, no doubt Buffy will blame Dean and Dean Buffy. Can't wait for more. update again soon!

Ha! The image of Buffy and Dean fighting to tear down the house is priceless. You'd think that after she drenched him with holy water, Dean would figure out that Buffy wasn't an ordinary girl... :)

Dean was far too shocked to think that he was splashed with holy water instead of just regular water or alcohol since all he sa was a silver flask container that she poured down on him. The fight scene was...well it was a last-minute addition as I as running out of ideas on what to do to end this chapter, then presto! I saw the scene of Buffy reacting to something Dean said and that would set 'em off fighting and Dean starting to think something's just not right with his stepsister...

Buffy "I am superior, because I am the Slayer" Summers VS. Dean "I am superior, because I am a Hunter" Winchester. This ought to be quite a fun knock down drag out battle. When do the Winchesters get to see the Slayer and Scoobies in action? Can't wait to find out.

Well Buffy might not be older than Dean, but at least Sam's still the youngest. I like the whole evenly spaced two year age gap. I do think you should change one of the sentences toward the end if you don't want it to come off like Dean wants Buffy instead of brotherly affection. I copied the one sentence below.

"You like Buffy more than you let on, don't you?"

Otherwise I thought it was great and it will certainly be interesting to see what happens when they find out about Buffy being the Slayer. Do they already know about the Hellmouth? Update again soon, please!

I'm really enjoying this and love where you placed it in the canon- Buffy and Dean as college aged, and Sam still in high school. Granted at sixteen, he's only two and a half years younger than Buffy, but that's perfect, because she's right smack in the middle of the two of them. I do have to confess that I'm hoping for a sequel or later developments where we see a tiny bit of the season 5 plotline, with Dawn introduced into the family's memories, because I think it would be interesting to watch Dawn annoying Sam while Dean annoyed Buffy. :)

Brilliant story so far. I'm interested to see if there will be any pairings between the Winchester boys and Buffy or any of her friends.
If you are taking votes I would rather you left Dawn out of it, I didn't like her much. But obviously it's up to you.
