When you put things like that.... I can see the appeal to working there. That and should something happen - broken bones, boils/blisters, burns, cuts from slicing ingredients... all that happens is a trip to the hospital wing and it's all better. And we've seen how some of the teachers seem to get away with the most appalling things.

(which really makes me wonder what kind of anti-septic & anti-bacterial treatments Poppy has - they must be really, really effective. Lord only knows what all could get into an open wound during Potions class... or what sort of effects that could have.)

SO many kids must have fantasized about attending Hogwarts... I wonder how many teachers have dreamed about a work environment with so few consequences. Kid doesn't turn in a paper on time... turn them into a frog for five minutes. Kid gives you attitude... sentence them to a night in the dungeons for detention. Something goes wrong, send them to Poppy to fix. What a life!

Don't you know that paperwork is the oil that keeps a bureaucracy running? You can't cut out the paperwork- the engines of bureaucracy would shudder to a halt. LOL!
