At the beginning you mention that you were inspired in part the "The Thirteenth Colony" on the fanfic website. However, there are a number of stories on fanfic with that title.

Interesting, but you need to watch your spelling. Things like "rouge Goa'uld" and "loose the Deadalus" tend to break readers out of the narrative flow. Also, be careful wrt quotation marks - you left some of them open.

I know, I know. Everybody's got an opinion about Pierce- some good, some bad. I know it's a cliche'd character (And I'll warn you now, it will get even more so in later chapters), but she is esential to my story. I only ask that you give the story a chance, but if my characters aren't to your liking, well... that's how the cookie crumbles, so to speak.

I remember reading this story on FF.net, and have been waiting for more chapters since the Coloniols joined into the alliance. Hope this is a sign that your taking the plot further than that.
