Well, ordinarily I hate seeing my beautifully dark and wild Faith settle into a domestic situation, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this.
Enjoyed the Narcissa; she's pretty much my favorite bit of Harry Potter lore (even though nearly everything about her I like has been created in various works of fanfiction).
And yes, the very last bit was a little TOO sweet for my taste; still, overall, an outstanding story.

I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed my version of Narcissa. The actual books didn't give us much more than her name and that she worried over Draco, so I had a lot of room to improvise.

I apologize for the "high fructose corn syrup" of an ending there. A "happy ending" was a requirement in the assignment, and I was a bit rushed to get the story completed in time. I'd love to go back and re-do it better, but I have very little time at the moment (I have a nearly-three-year old and three-month old twins) so I haven't even done anything on my work-still-in-progress story in a very long time.

I loved it...it was also nice to see Narcissa in a positive light as well...great job.

Why, thank you! I'm so glad that you enjoyed it. Since we've never actually seen Narcissa in the books but we have seen what a jerk Lucius is, I kind of figured that she would suffer from Battered Spouse Syndrome and be totally different than she might seem while under Lucius's thumb. I've been considering re-doing the end of this particular story since I think what I have is a bit rushed, but it was written under a deadline and so I had to get it done the first time.
