I have a weakness for Marriage Law fics and this is probably the most entertaining one I've run across :) Intriguing mix of pairings, too. I don't know whether to feel more sorry for Buffy or Snape xD Also I loved Giles being Molly's brother. Thinking about them growing up just gives me the most hysterical mental images.

This is most likely the best Harry Potter crossover fic that I have ever read. I do so hope that you will continue the story.

I know this is supposed to focus on the BtVS / HP crossovers, so what about Andrew or isn't he magical in your AU?

This story is still wonderful (I've read it a couple of times). I really hope you pick it up and write more of it. It's the best answer to the Marriage Laws challenge that I've ever seen.

I imagine that the Faith/Bill sexcapades will be just as exciting as the Xander/Tonks sexcapades. Buffy/Snape will probably be a fine couple - if they don't kill each other first trying to de-grease his hair & pound proper grammar into her head. Dawn/Harry are too cute with their growly anger especially when all the other 7th years will probably be jealous as hell over the match. (the girls wanting Harry and the guys wanting Dawn).

Willow/Percy though...*sighs and shakes head* Poor Percy, he needs such a kick to the head and Willow is just the witch to give it to him. *grins* I can't help but think of the spell she was going to use on the guy with the cursed jacket that everyone fell in love with (was his name Tim?) She was going to turn the guy into a girl, remember? I can see her doing that to Percy to "consummate" their marriage and to knock the pompous out of him. It'd work too. *evil smirk*

Loved the Buffy and Snape interaction, comparing him to the bad guy on the Smerfs fit perfectly. Hope the inspiration for this story hasn't completely left you and you will update soon.

So far this story has been a thrill a minute! I can't wait to find out what happens next. How Angel reacts to this, what the other kids at school think of Dawn and everyone, how Willow manages to remove the stick from Percy's ass... Who is Giles going to marry? What's Draco's take on everything? How's Hagrid dealing? Is Neville going to get married to save some poor girl?

I generally like this story (especially how you have written Faith and Dawn's outrage). I have to say I believe this is your weakest chapter. You have made Snape devoid of all personality. Creating a character is more than just recycling phrases they have used before or phrases they would likely use if placed in your created situation.

I believe you need to develop Snape. Remember how you had Faith and Bill? right-- doing things... looking at each other etc. I loved that chapter because you gave each character's perspective.

Snape is a snarky guy- it is easy to just repeat some nasty-mean phrase-- but if you want to create a full character you have to tell us his thoughts or have the man doing something in addition to insulting Buffy.

I have to say, Molly's "no such thing as True Love" speech is REALLY aimed at the wrong crowd. Everyone she's talking to except Faith and Dawn has been in love, fairy tale love, at least once. Granted, it never _ended_ well (like Angel and Buffy's love inadvertently almost causing the end of the world), but that didn't make their love any less genuine.

This is an interesting idea, but there should be a lot more people a lot more upset, not just the Order of the Phoenix. People should be rioting in the streets or writing their representatives or changing their names and fleeing to Mexico. It'd be a cool plot twist if someone else entirely took out the Minister, someone not related to the Scoobies or the Order, just someone really really mad. Then you could have that backfire, because with the new power vacuum and a certain amount of infighting, there'd be no one to repeal the law.

I'm still hoping for the happy ending, which is not them falling in love or being happy but the law dissolved, but Buffy should given's Snape's neck a little squeeze when she made th epoint about being called a muggle.

I suppose that my only real gripe is that I want to see a better solution for poor Willow. What was that about seamus earlier? besides I figure if you have to make some of these couples, why not throw potter to willow and give dawn and he a break, after a sufficently troubled week of course.
