Not sure I understand your comment. Willow isn't really in this particular story (other than as an observer.)

Yes, poor Hermione gets "stuck" with some Ron Weasley-relationship subtext. I think one unconventional/non-canon pairing (Buffy/Ginny) is enough for this story. Future stories in the series will have several other unconventional pairings but not anything earth shattering/surprising.

The story isn't really about them so we won't see much of anything with them together (for now anyway). Ginny is the main Harry Potter character in this story/series. Hermione and a few others appear occasionally but the story/series isn't set in teh wizarding world for the most part...

Although I have begun working on it (and other incomplete stories in the series) again... thanks to real life time constraints I haven't completed any parts that I can post yet. It could be weeks or months. But not years.

nice. this is review of total story. best post-chosen version of Watcher's Council i've read.
loved the wary interaction of council, ministry, and coven. suppose this is all incidental to girl meets girl story, but is big incidental to me. grounds story in (its own) reality. have now read all you've posted with tth, and am now rereading the lot while waiting for more.

Cool twist in the end. Nicely drawn social interactions and dialog throughout the chapter.

The plot was interesting in this chapter. I would have enjoyed a little more physical description or blow-by-blow description and action, but the snippets from the party were suitably mysterious.

Re: sequel

While I don't plan on abandoning them at this point, I don't currently have a sequel planned. I'll have to deal with what happens when Buffy finds out Ginny is in Cleveland and how she ended up there. I don't quite have that figured out as more than a scene or two yet. Certainly not enough to justify a whole sequel.

This is a wonderful story. I liked your characters, the plot, the logical way you combined the Buffyverse with the Potterverse, and how you also logically extrapolated the Buffyverse into the near future. I hope you do write more to this story as I feel there is more about these characters I would like to know. But I will look forward to anything you write. Thank you so much for the entertainment.

Wonderful. A very nice vague and open ending, with everything covered. I loved Kennedy. And I really like the relationships you described in the epilogue. I hope it all goes well for them. :-).

a good fic, it's nice to see Buffy being protrayed in a good light, nice to see she's as oblivious to half the things going on around her, especially when it comes to her own feelings.

Okay - I worked out the Indy reference, but the woman missing for 2 years stumped me.

Good job with the story so far, and I love that Buffy seems to be the last one to know that she's getting feelings for Ginny. Hermione dropped the standard friend threaten line, Giles is making pointed references to 'him' and she's making all sorts of excuses to herself. *snerk* Sometimes you need to drop a house on Buffy to get her to realise something.

Loved that she completely missed Amanda's reference to Ginny as a witch, too.
