Brilliant! I love this idea...I love the glimpse of a better life Wes gets, and the way Willow comes to save the day. She so rocks! I love the interaction between her and Illyria, how Illyria really gets to be one of the good guys in this, and how Willow's going to find a way for both her and Fred to be around. I'm really looking forward to that sequel! Good luck with it!

You absolutely rock! You didn't make Wesley die! I only watched the episode last night and I was seriously crying. If you bring Lindsey back, I will never, ever make you rush another fic ever!

Oh, thank you for this lovely look at a different path for Angel and the gang. And you even managed to bring Fred back without sacrificing Illyria. She's just cool, you know? I can hardly wait for your sequel! I'd like a better look at the Gunn/Faith romance. Hee, hee! =]

I'm all inarticulate and squeaky with the love of this story. You even managed to overcome my distinct distaste for post 'Not Fade Away' stories where the Scoobies come in and save the day. This was most likely due to the creative use of 'The Princess Bride' and the fact I am a sucker for pretty much anything which has references to it. Seriously, you have once again outdone yourself. Everyone is in character and the dialogue is just as snappy as any you would see on the actual show. This is a wonderful story, and it was a pleasure to read.
