But... but I *hate* Josh/Donna. The very *idea* makes me roll my eyes and sigh dramatically. So why the hell am I grinning like an idiot and trying not to laugh out loud and wake my roommate? What sorcery have you wrought with your cunning yet obviously evil words? This is *not fair*.

There are times when you shouldn't goof off and read stories at work. Especially when I read, "Along the way, CJ pushed her hands into something approximating a prayer-position. "Hi, God. Claudia Jean. I know I don't call as often as I should. But please, please, could you arrange to not let that noise be the Deputy Chief of Staff and Toby Ziegler scrapping in the White House parking lot?" I just about fell out of my chair I laughed so hard. This story is GREAT! Thanks so much for writing it.

One of the best series of fanfics I've ever read. So glad to see it posted here. Marcus Rowland's shameless pimping lead me to this story a couple of months ago and I ate up the whole series despite only having seen one or two espisodes of the West Wing. Now I'm in love with that show too. The characters are spot on and the dialogue funny and the plot moves along at a good pace. Make sure you read all three stories in the series.

Thank you for a wonderful story. It kept me up half the night as I read it, and I spent much of that time chuckling. I'm looking forward to reading the sequel, as it comes out.

A few things that I wonder about:

How the heck did they get the Buffybot past the metal detectors? That would have been tougher than Toby smuggling in the sword.

In many WW crossovers, Leo and the President have been briefed on the Initiative, so maybe they really do know what's going on. Did the President show up there at the end because he wanted to have a look at the Slayer for himself?

Wow. I just read this straight through and thoroughly enjoyed it. Bravo.
Your dialogue is brilliant, and had me chuckling through most of the chapters, especially the banter between D and J. Thanks for posting.
