Interesting but not calling to me at this time. Dumbledore makes a point of mentioning the sister school in America. Ministry of Magic or not, its still England and logically - if I could use that word with fan fiction crossing over BtVS and HP - the English ministry would have no regulation over citizens of other countries. If they did, the over schools offering instruction in Dark Arts etc mentioned in JKR's books would not be allowed to continue operation. Fan fiction calls for everyone to suspense their critical thoughts to at least an extent. Usually I can deal with a certain amount of mismatching and still enjoy the writing. In this case I can't. I will come back some other time and hope I can be more relaxed.

I am quite enjoying this story. However I've noticed it hasnt been updated in quite some time. I hope that you do find a chance to update it again soon, or if your writing elsewhere let us know. I would be sad not to see this story continued.

The beginning of the chapter was very good. The way you introduced it made it flow well so that it was a pleasure to read. I also liked the way that you decided to have Willow shown around the castle - I think it probably opens up lots of potential for scenes with the other various characters of HP-verse. The conversation at the breakfast table was also generally good. I know that you had to have Snape and Willow introduced to each other at some point but there was something that was perhaps a little too sharp about the way that he spoke to her. Snape can be cutting but the question is how cutting is he when he is dealing with adults and away from the students? Perhaps a little more explanation would have been useful. I'll admit that there were parts of the breakfast scene which I wasn't too keen on. It seemed oddly as if it were repeating something from earlier in the fic so perhaps a change of venue for the conversation might have been needed. Over all though it was another good part and I hope to see more soon.

lol Well when is Snape ever nice in front of others.. Good to know that not every one holds her actions against her. what is it that Dumbeldore knows and he is not sharing??? HHMM makes you wonder.. Great part... love it

Wonderful update. I have missed this story. Your characterizations are right on. Especially Snape. Wonder what Dumbledor knows? I can't wait to find out. I am looking forward to reading more.

The description of the common room was wonderful. You did a brilliant job of describing it and bringing it to life without having to go into too much detail.

You write Sirius especially well. There was something in the way you moved through the conversation with Dumbledore that made his little characteristics leap from the page and come to life. His thoughts, his motivations were just as they might have been in the books.

The 'Bedlam' reference in the conversation between Sirius and Remus seemed a little off. I thought perhaps that they might have used a wizarded version instead.

Over all though a good part. The plot moved forwards well and the characterisation made it interesting to read.

I'll admit that this wasn't my favourite part. It had several very good moments but centering the action as it was and barely touching on the reactions of some of the characters at the meeting seemed to take away from it a little. At the same time I realise it was a necessary part in order to draw the story together. I'm interested to see how you're going to use the newly introduced characters to make the plot progress further.

Your chapters just keep getting better and better. You truly have a grasp on your characters, understanding their weaknesses and strenghts, and you are able to use that in their behaviour. I loved Oliver in this chapter, and I loved the scene with the thestrals. I love how you depict Lucius in this story, you've got his character down perfectly.

I like how you show that willow has some complex feelings about Giles, gratitude, friendship, but also anger and resentment that he didn't let her know about the wizarding world before. I love your descriptions of the scenery. Just an all around great story, with a good flow, and an interesting plot.

I haven't had time to tell you yet how much I am enjoying this fic. Your Snape from the last chapter was just brilliant, and I loved that bit between Fudge and Dumbledore. I can't wait too see more.

Once again your charactisation was excellent. The way that you painted Snape was especially accurate, the physical descriptions you used adding well to the scene. In fact, in truth, I'm a little amazed at the fact that you're obviously very concerned with making sure you set the scene. It makes the fic all the more pleasing because it adds to the atmosphere. The conversation between Snape and McGonagall was interesting, I liked the way you kept the latter quite playful and dismissive of the way that Snape was carrying on. It was highly amusing and balanced the second, far more serious, part of the fic well. I have to admit that there were times when Lucius and Voldemort were talking that I would have cared for a little more detail on things such as facial expressions and the like but that's just a personal hang-up of mine. Over all the conversation was fine and you closed the part off well with Voldemort's last line.

I have to admit I'm a huge Draco fan so I have to wonder whether he'll be making an appearance at any point... I suppose it depends on how long the time line of the fic will be and where you're taking it in the end.

Can't wait to see how Voldemort is going to lure Willow over to his side.
