That was brilliant! I love how Luna ended up being right in the end. Excellent story.

This has everything! Everyone is written completely in character, the canon is adhered to and the plot was just perfect! Bravo!

I felt the end was a little abrupt. I would have liked to see Fred analyse the poison, and come up with the antidote, while Snape breathed down her neck, or something like that. We don't really get to see how her scientific approach solved the problem. It seemed more like Spike or Angel stumbled over the flattened Woogeytramp in the forest, and they figured it out from there.

Thank you for the feedback. And you're right, it was a bit abrupt, but I found myself at my wit's end with this story. Especially since it was supposed to be a short fic for the Mid Year Ficathon and turned out to be over 10K words. However, I would like to point out that Fred had been suspicious of the "pollen" beforehand and tried to figure things out through working with the blood samples, but she just couldn't do much without a sample of the stuff.
