Ah yes ‘Emergency’ and ‘Adam-12’. Great to work in references to two of Jack Webb’s best shows outside of Dragnet. Emergency is still THE BEST and most realistic show about firefighters, paramedics and emergency medicine ever put on the air.

Another fun chapter - I'll be interested to see how Friday explains vampires away if he sees them.
"Dusk" is a very nice touch - most times the alternative name I've seen for Dawn has been "Eve", which is a little confusing given the Angel character.

Very funny--"Muffy Winters" and Friday's reaction to spam (although I seem to remember it wasn't usually so pervasive in early 1997). Wonder what they'll make of Lothos or Pike if they come across them. Its very cool to see a pre-Sunnydale Buffy story. Is Friday supposed to be from the original Jack Webb series or the newer one with the guy who played Al Bundy or even, heaven forbid, the Dan Aykroyd movie?

That was a great opening. You caught the tone of Dragnet perfectly. This will definately tide me over while I await the sequels to "Harry Potter and the Key of Dagon" and "Misunderstandings" (you are writing sequels for those right? right? please, pretty please with sugar on top).
The humor was great. Can't wait to see how Friday reacts to a high school gym buring down.
