Review of chapter "Making the Best of It" from (2007%20Donor)Kiwikatipo
Review:
The most interesting thing about this PWP for me is how clinical it is. One can tell you are a man.

eg "Faith released ....... to get her own towel, and to dry Glorfindel as he did her. They used their towels to dry each others’ hair. The Eldar fabric was so absorbent that it was nearly as effective as using a blow dryer."

It's like following some kind of cooking instruction show. They don't feel anything you see. No inner doubt, shame, (perhaps because he is a dirty debauching elf, corrupting a much younger human) unbridled lust, long felt love that can only be now physically expressed. Nothing, zip.

I mean their joining sounded like a fun ride the way you described it, but their shagfest would come across as more sensual and erotic, if we could have been party to the participants innermost desires.

Or you could have gone even more heavily on the clinical to make it comic.

The line “Oh **** yeah!” said Faith .............. She said it in English, since she didn’t really have the Westron vocabulary for what she was feeling" and then I realised you meant feeling as in physically, not emotionally and proceeded to tell me how that was the first thing she learned in another language ahead of 'do you take American Express, where is the nearest laundromat?' cracked me up.

This story did make me read your Lord of the Rings crossover however. You are very competent at writing. I'm envious, but don't give up your day job to write for Harlequin (joke, not mortal insult designed to hurt your feelings)

Review of chapter "Joe's Place" from RevDorothyL
Review:
I've only just read most of these, but I have to say how much I enjoyed chapter 2 "Joe's Place" and chapter 4 "Chicago Mountie". However, the "Joe's Place" chapter seemed the most tantalizing. Now, I'll have to look and see if you've written any more BtVS/HL crossover. Very nice work with both Joe and Benton in those chapters, and it's great to think of Joyce having someone that decent in her life.

There are some things it's worth being chucked in a snowdrift for.

I suppose Bilbo did play quite a few tricks with the ring. Not sure he'd choose Faith as a target, given her abilities, but maybe he just likes living dangerously.
Comments from author:
After being shut up for a few months, even the Wrath of Faith is something worth risking.

I really liked "Joe's Place" & "Best Laid Plans". I'd like to see either or both of them continued.

Review of chapter "Best Laid Schemes" from iroshi
Review:
Oh, *please* do continue this one! I love stories with Xander as the main character; he was so under-used in the series. And a Xander-as-Harry-Potter story with a decent author and an actual plausible foundation? YES! Please - I would love to read it. Hell, I'd even offer to beta it if necessary...and I have little enough spare time as it is.

This was a great bunny and I hope the thoughts continue on this one. Dumbledore's reaction when "Harry" reaches 11 should be priceless even if we don't see anything else... Nice short!

Hmmm, I'm not sure what to think about this one. Seems a little cold hearted, but perhaps it's because hindsight is 20/20. Keep up the good work.

I tend not to read the "fic for all" multiple crossings, but I was intrigued and gave yours a shot...I'm glad I did. I enjoyed it so far. In fact, I really liked the second story and wished that it would have been continued -- just an idea for future writings. :)

Review of chapter "Chicago Mountie" from LurkerOOl
Review:
My wife and I have been fans of Due South for a long time, and just recently purchased all three seasons on DVD. You have captured just the way these two very disparate shows could be crossed over. It would really be interesting to see Buffy and crew explaining Sunnydale on a Benton trip to the Hellmouth.

I always thought of the FFA as "fun" quick reads but usually nothing too substantial. This chapter changes my mind. In a very short piece you conveyed a great deal of information with an impressive writing style. It certainly seems like the beginning of something bigger.
