This is a lovely concept. I enjoyed it a great deal, although I felt like there were a great many missing scenes. I hope you get time to work on it some more at some point.

I rushed it at the end, because I really wanted to be done with it. I had wanted it to go over a longer period of time, but then this burning desire came to let me know I needed to finish some of the unfinished stories I've got...

I really like this story. I think it's a very original idea that could be very well written. However, what you have posted so far could really be expanded. There are some things that just don't make sense to me.

Why was Willow so quick to give up her name? She's been Willow Rosenberg all her life and she's accomplished a lot with that name. Now she's met her biological parents twice and she's changing her name, changing her whole life for them. As far as we know they may not really be related anyway. All we have is a mysterious phone call (and those are always so accurate) and the fact that she looks like Abigail Bartlet when she was younger. You never mentioned anything about blood or DNA testing, of which I'm sure I would need before I accepted anyone as my biological parents. It makes even less sense when you think that the President is a pretty high profile person. I would think that they would have to perform some pretty detailed background checks before they just welcomed her into their family. For all they know this is some kind of plot, either to hurt the President and his family, or to disrupt the winning streak the Scoobies have been on. I would think someone from some group would be questioning things.

I can understand why she would transfer schools, the security concerns would probably figure heavily into that, but how does this affect what happens in Sunnydale? What happens with the Initiative and with Adam? Willow was a key figure in the downfall of the Initiative, how does her research only path work around the established history?

By the way, what happened with her parents? Did anyone ever tell them what's going on? Are they going to be reading about this in the paper? How did they end up with Willow? Is this all a part of some greater, more intricate conspiracy?

I hope you give some thought to my questions. Like I said, I am enjoying the story. I just think you need to add more detail and close up some of the plot holes.
