Review:
I thought that I'd reviewed this long ago but apparently I didn't, probably because I read it during the run-up to the Crossing Over Awards, and I was concentrating on trying to read as many nominees as possible before voting. I voted for it, of course, as it's definitely the best crossover in the LoTR 'verse that I've ever come across. Beautifully balanced (like Faith's reforged sword).

Review:
Very nice story. Easy to follow even though I haven't read "The Hobbit." I love Faith playing with little Aragorn -- too cute!

Review:
Wow, I love this story! Mabye you could write a sequel where Glofindel comes to earth or Faith goes back to Arda, you could worck in the whole marrage between them (whitch I have to say had me twitching for a bit). Anyway, good story!
Comments from author:
I've had some thoughts about sending Faith back, post LotR, so she can see what's changed.

Review of chapter "Part X: There’s No Place Like Home" from (2006 Donor)MetropolisRising
Review:
I liked it but it just ended! *wails* she got there and all of the sudden BOOM, all done. Cruel, cruel. But wonderful and not in any way intrusive or changing to the story too much. Thanks for this, very fun.
Comments from author:
My plan all along for this story was "Faith helps Bilbo get home" and once they got to Imladris, that task was essentially completed. I've been thinking about bringing her back to Middle Earth for a sequel, but I don't really have a good feel for what's going to happen to her on her return visit.

Review of chapter "Part X: There’s No Place Like Home" from purrfus
Review:
Great. Unusual to see a pre-LotR and with Faith. Fantastic combination. The end was a little abrupt, but it was very interesting to see how little time elapsed while she was gone.

I can feel the jealousy rolling off Andrew on Faith's return from here!

Review of chapter "Part X: There’s No Place Like Home" from Booster
Review:
Very enjoyable, and I do hope that there's a sequel on it's way. Much like life I suppose, but I wish Faith had had a last moment to say goodbye to everyone she had known and got to love in Middle-Earth.

Review:
Cool. The end was a little abrupt, but it worked. I didn't really saw Faith fighting the good fight in Middle Earth.

Review of chapter "Part X: There’s No Place Like Home" from fastpilot
Review:
I very much regret not reviewing this before, I enjoyed it a great deal. It almost seems to have come to an abrupt end--but since it's one that follows directly from how she got there--I know that's just me being greedy.

thank you, fastpilot

Review of chapter "Part X: There’s No Place Like Home" from (2007 Donor)DaveTurner
Review:
It must be 30+yrs since I read 'The Hobbit' and LOTR, and I have to say I wasn't that impressed with either of them! I found the films 'good in parts' otherwise quite boring. So it was quite a surprise to me that I actually read and enjoyed your story, so well done on that count.
I also liked you more thoughtful treatment of Faith, rather than the brash Faith that people normally write. I think the 'toned-down' Faith is more in line with what we saw of her in BtVS S7.
All The Best,
Dave T.

Nice ending - I hope she bought back some souvenirs.
Comments from author:
She's got her reforged sword, some nifty pictures in her camera phone, the pipe Bilbo made for her, and some elvish silk underwear.
