Just caught up on this story and it is fabulous! It's such a small, dumb thing but I think I love you most for making Buffy a great cook. Somehow it's become fannon that Buffy not only can't cook, but is a horrible one in spite of evidence to the contrary in the actual series. So thank you for that. Like I said dumb, but it makes me very happy as a Buffy fan! :)

I also love, love, love the relationship between Faith and Buffy and is exactly how I pictured their relationship evolving post-"Chosen." It wasn't easy, but it was an absolute possibility for them to become the friends and sisters they always had the potential to be. You've matured their relationship wonderfully.

Also great job on capturing the dialogue and characters for both shows. I think you've written them all fabulously. I am totally loving the Cam-Buffy pairing and can't wait for more. :)

And one last note I almost forgot. Which would be bad, because the compliment is an integral part of a review. I love the descriptions used, (mostly because it's there, so often people tell stories with describing anything beyond frowns and sunsets and eye colour, *cough*mightbeme*cough*) but it's not overwhelming, but helps to give a better image of what's actually taking place by filling in blank spaces.

I'm foreshadowing like the dickens in this particular fic. I don't want to sucker-punch readers with random angst like Joss. Not that I don't appreciate that type of story telling, I actually adore it, but this story really doesn't lend itself to those particular twists.

Ah Alice, she was definitely a smitten kitten. She was fine with the sickness, but flustered by the cuteness.

I tend to picture a scene in my head and go from there. It usually makes my stories a bit more detailed than some and I get both responses about it. Some adore it and some prefer I'd skip to the good stuff but I'm of the school that skipping to the good stuff cheats the reader. *shrugs* To each there own. Glad you enjoy it and thank you for taking the time to let me know.

*cackle* I love it! The playful banter that they maintain is so in character for both of them, and such a delight to read! I'm glad she let Cam in on the secret, although Lorne's post-parting statement is quite ominous. And have you said why Buffy doesn't like ice cream yet? Thank you! I think Cam and Buffy would have that type of push and pull flirting banter and I'm glad you like reading it 'cause it's fun to write. I think Buffy's willing to share that side of her life with someone if she thinks they're in it for the long haul and Cam most definitely is, but when has either of them had an easy time when it comes to relationships? The ice cream moment hasn't been addressed yet and it won't come up again till we get closer to the end. A few people have been guessing but I'm not confirming anything. I have no idea how I missed this! I love this story and man... fabulous chapter! I know I've said this before (and we've talked about it) but I love the interaction between Buffy & Faith. Love that they've finally found that common ground yet still are their characters. Faith kissing Buffy when she was leaving made me smile and was completely something our brunette slayer would do.

You know I like Faith and Buffy on equal footing and moving past the mistakes that they both made towards one another. I personally don't think the story needs the drama that their relationship would bring if they weren't friends. The kiss just seemed very Faith-like and I'm glad you noticed it and thought so too.

Great story. It's been a while since I've read this so I re-read the whole thing and I love where you've taken it. I like that you brought Faith into it and I'm interested to see if you're going to be bringing in anymore of the Scoobies. Plus I can't wait to see more crossover with the Stargate universe. Good work again and update soon.

It's nice to know that the stories worth a reread. Thank you. As for the Scoobies, I'm leaning towards no. They tend to be detrimental to Buffy's relationships and to her at times. Buffy's core group in this story is Faith, Robin and Lorne. Those are her 'Scoobies' now.

The Stargate'verse will come more into effect when Cam is fully healed and can be reinstated. Until then you'll have to put up with just Buffy and Cam with cameos from Daniel and Jack. Hopefully that's not too much of a hardship. *grins*

I love the way you write Faith and Buffy as friends. As for the Cam and Buffy part... *fans self* Yeah, I won't complain if there's more of that further on in the story! Thank you for updating this, it always feels like getting a present when you do. :-)

Those kind of Buffy/Cam moments are fun but they'll only be used when the plot will be strengthened by it and not just because I want to toss some hot moments in to stir things up - no, matter how tempting it is.

Oh I'm thrilled as always that you updated this. And WOW what an update! The two of them are very hot together. Still worried he's going to break her heart though :) Great chapter! I really love the beginning bits with Faith...nice to see the two of them as friends!

Is the heartbreak coming? Probably, but not for awhile and you'll know when things start to dip towards the bad.
