I watched some episodes of Firefly yesterday which caused me to have a powerful urge to read this and "Slayers in Space". I think this is like the 7th time I have re-read this story and it is still as awesome as it was the first time I read it. Even though the story is perfect on its own, I hope you still plan to write a sequel as I would love to see what happens next, especially the development of the Nara/Mal/Willow relationship. Again, awesome job. This is still one of my all-time favorite stories.

Great story. I wasn't sure how much I would like it, since it would be far future thing. But I see now that Firefly is a good fit since it realistic future as opposed to Star Wars or Star Trek. Of course it helps that they have the same creators. Would have been a '10' if you weren't reusing plots from Firefly.

You make promises of a sequel to this one, but I don't see any forthcoming... :'( Makes me cry 'cause not only does it have SEVERAL unique twists, but the writing...? Superb. You capture the feel of all the characters just right and I really look forward to a sequel.

After I re-read 'Slayers in Space" I had to re-read this one. It is as fantastic as I remember. I love how seamlessly you were able to incorporate Willow into the Firefly episodes. I can't wait to read the sequel if you still plan to write one.
