Space monkeys would be awesome. I was thinking of a cross between the Orangutan Librarian from Discworld-though he's technically an ape-and the flying monkeys from the Wizard of Oz. Hulk Homer is an invention of the Simpsons. As for the scenario that would involve Barney, Apophis and a signing goat-considering all the times the Apophis died/almost died, he had to suffer neurological damage along the way. I think he would get along fine with Barney and a singing goat.
