Review of chapter "Muppet Contracts 12: The Right to an Attorney" from HeatherDee
Review:
"Twelve!, Twelve!, Twelve chapters of murderous muppet mystery! Ah ha ha ha!"

Hm, I think Scooter's goose is cooked. They're gonna be vacuuming nerf outta the rafters for a week.

Review:
Interesting development. Nicely written.

One thing that stood out was the description of the trip to the police station, and the lack of description of the way back; nicely done showing how upset the lawyer was at what he encountered. Well done!

Thanks for the update.

Hehehe, nice to see someone has some self preservation instincts.
Comments from author:
Hey, not everybody in that universe has the survival instincts of a depressed, drunken lemming.

His morals may be questionable (or lacking, ymmv) but nobody accused him of being dis-interested in his own continued survival.

Review:
Yay! Update! You're right; Lindsey would definitely have the brains to say no to the madman who framed Count vonCount. So, now we just have to see what revenge the Count comes up with and whether or not Holland finds someone desperate/foolhardy enough to represent Dee.

This series was a brilliant brainwave.
Comments from author:
I'm sure that someone will be willing to try it - though they might not be from Wolfram & Hart... hey, a lawyer has to start somewhere, and something like this could make quite the change in your reputation. Without knowing about the Count, that could have some definite appeal...

It would be the best thing for Scooter's health to remain in solitary confinement, without visitors for the rest of his life. snicker...

Well, will wonders ever cease? A Lawyer, -- and from Wolfram & Hart, too -- with brains AND in touch with reality? You've made me chuckle. What will happen now, will the Count vonCount launch his own attack/counter-charge against Scooter? No matter, I'll follow this.
Comments from author:
self-preservation instinct - Lindsey has it.

I'm not entirely sure what happens next for this one - I've been plotting on a few other fics.

Review:
Nice to see Lindsey isn't stupid >:). When Count vonCount hears about Scooter's escapades, he'll no doubt "request" a talk with him. After that, only the details of how many different mathematically chosen cities across the plant each lovingly removed bone will be mailed to for posterity's sake *Very Evil Grin*
Comments from author:
well, if the insanity plea works, Scooter may be free to go. Then the Count wouldn't need to do anything special to find him for that little chat about how it vas a bad idea to try to frame him for Scooter's actions... and to insult the numbers like that.

Nice, good that they're going in, not only with legal backing, but with enough proof of motive to get Scooter's prints :)
Comments from author:
Isn't it nice to know a semi-friendly police officer?

I remember my school telling us that the police officers were our friends...

I know I've told you this before, but I absolutely love the matter-of-fact creepy muppetness. So, so fun. Thanks for the update.
Comments from author:
You are most welcome, and feel free to tell me that you're enjoying the story or setting or any group of my work anytime the urge strikes you : )

The Muppets that I remember from when I was a small child were far less nauseatingly cheerful than Elmo and whatever else has invaded the Muppets of today - my children are currently 12 and 8, and the Sesame Street being produced new when they watched didn't match what I remembered. Granted, the crossover version is a bit darker than what my mom had me watching, but...

Would it be a surprise to say that I know several people who had childhood nightmares featuring Muppets?

Review of chapter "And the Killer Is..." from (2007%20Donor)dogbertcarroll
Review:
Scooter better prey he gets a long prison sentence. I think The Count's knowledge of magic and mathematics could keep Scooter alive for centuries if he wished.
Comments from author:
Scooter should pray, so that he doesn't become prey. : ) Lock him up in a nice, secure prison cell away from visitors, please. No parole, he's safer inside.

Considering the set-up, it would probably be for one hundred and thirteen years, one year for each piece insulted by being labeled vith the same number. You vill rue the day you insulted the numbers in such a manner, Scooter.

Ooh! What a fascinating story! I never would have thought of Scooter Dee!
This series reminds me a bit of the musical Avenue Q- everything is muppetastic, and yet much more jaded. Thanks for the amusing, and slightly creepy, ride.

I know I've said it before, but your scary Muppets are brilliant. Their so matter-of-fact, tossaways of this hideous or bizarre thing is funny, creepy, and easy to visualize.
