The only quibble I have with the story is Cassie's statement that "both" Buffy's moms sent her. I didn't catch any reference that Buffy knew she was adopted.

I dug it totally. But I need more. Does Buffy know she'a adopted? From the way you made it sound know one but the three adults knew. Will Janet or Cassie be able to get passed the walls Buffy's just starting to build. And get her to open up. I can't see Janet letting her go back to the Hellmouth alone. If she let her go back there at all. Anyway I hope to read more soon.
