I get the sneaking suspicion that in this AU this forms the "power the Dark Lord knows not." Harry has to kill him, but the prophesy doesn't say that someone else can't pound him into a pile of quivering goo ready for Harry to finish off. I can't wait to find out what happens next. I've seen the HP movies (who hasn't?), but Ive never been interested in reading the books. I do, however like you're take on the HP story. Looking forward to revenge...as done by protective older brother Xander, and mega wicca Willow.
