Basically, he's an acrobatic super martial artist (might as well call him Wire Fu Man) whose powers were given to him (to his father, actually) by aliens. His costume is a little reminiscent to me of Nightman's, but much cooler for some reason.

I chose not to get into his ability to spontaneously burst into song and a seemingly choreographed dance routine, influencing all bystanders to join in. One suspects that the ritual to summon Sweet is well known in Bollywood...

I have no idea what the series was in chapter 7 that you were referencing, unless it was an original series out of your own head. In which case I wouldn't know it anyway. *grin*. (Additional disclaimers generally avoid confusion)

Oh, it was Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere, originally a British TV miniseries, then a novel, and currently a comic book. Since I already had two of the major villains from the story, Croup and Vandemar, show up as Wolfram & Hart employees in the story "Shards", I figured I'd use the heroes here, since they'd be rather close to the action anyway. It's funny that you posted this after I wondered about the lack of Xander my review for "shards". I liked a lot of this because anytime you put things up against Cybermen it's good. Your portrayal of Prof. X was in line with the new slightly more cold blooded version that is circulating and didn't feel out of place. It also served as an effective counter point to Big Blue's thoughts on their remaining humanity (essentially a DC vs. Marvel argument in how things get done). For some reason the presence of Blade bothered me, except for the fact that he's a fully logical component of this mixed universe, so I have to accept it. Maybe it's just that I thought you would have had him in the Nikki Wood era as opposed to going with the movie versions. In any case this was a good "Director's cut" and I fully agree that while good as a stand alone, it would have caused the main story to drag.

Sweet! I liked all four of these 'sideshow' stories. I hope you write more as you do a good job of characterization with few words and it is nice to see how some of the heroes not in the main plotline of your story are doing.

FINALLY! Ever since I read the first fanfic taking place on the Cleveland Hellmouth, I've been waiting for somebody to write a BtVS/HtD crossover. (It was nice to hear that he and Bev were still together.) Of course, my vision included one of the key players being overwhelmed by a vampiric cow only to be saved by a little feathered guy with a wooden spear. (HtVCS?)
