Welcome to the wonderful mish-mash of 'verses that is my Familiar-verse!

Canon in HP through book four. In book five: Umbridge was never the DADA teacher, Bill came in when Mrs. Weasley tried - somewhat successfully - to draw all her children back home. The DA (Harry's little group) started up anyways, but was NOT disbanded. Fred and George graduated from Hogwarts, and started up Weasley's Wizard Wheezes as planned (they were not at the Ministry, and no, I'm not going to tell you what they got on their N.E.W.Ts). Sirius still fell through the Veil, and Voldemort got outed (not that way, although... heh, that'd be downright amusing). Fudge is still the Minister, though he's more of a puppet than a true leader, big change, huh?

Canon in BtVS through the end of season five. In season six, Buffy was brought back to life, but the nerds never became a problem. Willow went the way of the Dark Insidious, but Tara didn't die. Giles takes both Wiccas to London so Wills can recuperate, dragging Dawnie along because Buffy's not fit to care for anyone and Spike... well, we all know what Giles thinks of Spike.

And so our story begins...
