Willow hummed to herself as she strolled through the night, listening to music on auto shuffle. Tonight she was letting the magic guide her, and oh wouldn’t the ladies of the coven, be so disapproving. A little smirk played across her lips. She gave them the daylight hours and they made what progress they could. She was still black haired, and rivaled the dead of night for her dark. Her eyes had returned to green a few days ago.
Currently her eyes were closed as her feet propelled her across fields and down country lanes. Something wickedly dark, something that tasted familiar on the air was calling out to her. More precisely pain was calling out to her. It had reached her inside of the shields of the coven and lured her out into the world at large.
With out needing to see, she let the music become her conscious mind, picturing every word as it flashed through her mindscape, it was in this way that she kept moving, dancing to the beats and rhythms that only she could hear. It kept her present, otherwise she knew that she’d answer the call of the dark that she felt. Concentrating on the music made the euphoric feeling of the call, fade. So she kept walking. She thought she felt the sun on her face, but she paid no mind to it. Like everything else, it was irrelevant.
Without seeming to be aware she came upon a battle arcane, the song shifted. “No attorney to plead my case.” Her eyes still closed “I’m trouble ya’ll,” she sang out in a darkly caressing voice, “If you see me coming down your street, you know it’s time to go, ‘cause you got trouble.” The music didn’t make her move her body, but the words pulsated through her, “you try to take me, you can take me for a ride.” She opened her eyes and they faded to obsidian pools, “I’m trouble ya’ll, so you better run and hide.”
Black eyes taking the death and destruction, "it’s my life baby, but I don’t care…ain’t that tuff enough?" She smirked as the tunes kept on, "not even worry about getting burned." She flexed her magical fingers at the same time she flexed her physical fingers. Turning suddenly she let loose a furious blast of magical energy and watched as the force of the blow crumpled her opponent to the ground, "tuff enough," her mind voice smirked.
She saw a black haired man snarling and defending a white-blond haired man as the music shifted and her grin became feral as the new lyrics passed through her mind. "Girls they just wanna’ have fun". Then feeling bouncy she let loose another blast of magic, "I wanna’ be the one to walk in the sun." Her eyes bleeding back to green, as she watched the figure twitch and draw its last breath. “Girls just wanna’ have fun.” Then she moved closer to the black haired wizard and sang the lyrics, “when the working day is done, girls just wanna’ have fun.” Then she moved on, deeper into the battle.
She stilled as the next song came, thunder and lighting sounding; she closed her eyes and called the earth’s forces. “According to all sources, ‘cause tonight for the first time.” Then the downpour started and for a moment her hair flashed red and her eyes green. Then she felt the magical attack and she was black. She faced the attackers and sang, “I feel stormy weather moving in, about to begin, here the thunder, don’t you loose your head, rip off the roof.” Her soft voice intoned. The buildings in the vicinity imploded and the lighting randomly struck targets and incinerated wizards and witches. “According to all sources, the streets the place to go.” She held her hands up to the sky and pulled even more rain from the gathered clouds. “Rough and tough and strong and lean.” Her voice sighed as she opened her eyes to find the dark haired wizard and his pale haired companion staring at her, close enough to touch.
The music changed again. “I had a dream I was your hero, Damn I wish I was your lover,” purred from her lips as the next track rolled through her mind. Her eyes connecting with his as the music moved her body, the rain and lightening stopped. “Tonight I’ll be your mother and do such things to ease your pain…you’re the only shoe that fits, can’t imagine that I’ll grow out of it.” She moved closer to the dark haired man as she caressed the blonds pale face, “I sat on the mountain side with peace of mind.” Then with her other hand she caressed the face that held those coal dark eyes. “I returned as chained and bound to you… for me there is no other.” Then she was closer and finally, her lips caressed his as she sighed, “Damn, I wish I was lover…I wanna fill you up, I wanna make you cry, damn I wish I was your lover.”
She released his face as the next song flowed through her, “I forget myself and I want you to remind me, I don’t want anybody else.” Her mind was captured by his and she stilled, the words and lyrics fading to the background. Slowly as she was pulled closer to his body, she surrendered to his will and her hair slowly faded to red and her eyes to green. He pulled her closer and his lips descended upon her own and she felt, for the first time since Kingmans Bluff. She stiffened as a spell hit and she blackened.
The song had switched while she had been calm, she turned around in the mans embrace and let fly a furious blast of magic, frying several witches and wizards, “I can’t help my self,” she purred as she continued on with her magical attack. It was a battle and she was the third player, “like no one else,” she sang softly, as her obsidian eyes alighted on her next area of destruction, “I won’t make it on my own, no one likes to be alone.” Her voice soft and powerful. Around her there was a swath of destruction. She leaned back against the warm male body behind her.
The music changed again, “’Bout this time of night, when the crowds have passed…looking out for you, someone just like me.” She sang, “I don’t care whether it’s wrong or right.” Content, “No need to look so shy, don’t even wonder why,” she watched the magical battle and for the moment protected her two companions with her shielding. Lost in the words of the song and the feeling of the body behind her. She glanced to her left with obsidian eyes as the blond hair man, rested a hand on her shoulder.
The track changed and her magic crackled, “Try to steal your minds elation,” she purred. Then her whole body went sparky, “Edge of the world.” Then with a flex of her fingers she felt the sparks fly, catching everything they touched on fire, with magical fire. “Getting high on information.” She grinned as she heard the screams of agony, “control the population...every bodies been there and I don’t mean no vacation.” Her voice still soft and her hands randomly sending out glittering showers of fire. She felt the blond man wrap an arm around her waist from the other side as she was pulled closer to both men. “Destruction leads to very rough road, but it also breeds creation…is this what you’re craving.” Her dark voice reverberating over the night.
The next track made her body move again, “I like your flow, your bodies banging out of control…only you can make me scream and beg for more.” She pulled out of the dual embrace and stared dancing through the wizards, eyes closed as, “Sexy, Hot, I like your style.” As she moved through the remaining wizards, she energized them.
Her body stopped again, “I could not run away it seems.” She purred, then started to sway. “Try to understand, try, try, try to understand, he’s a magic man.” She felt the arms go around her again and sighed as she leaned back into their embrace, “Seems like he knew me he looked right through me.” Her voice soft and barely audible. Somewhere she noted that the sun was rising again. Her conscious mind starting to stir, so she let herself feel the men behind her and the words that rolled through her mind. “Come on home girl he said with a smile.” She allowed herself to breath in the intoxicating smell of the two men behind her.
With the next track change, tears started to fall from her eyes, “I’d like to help you with your struggle to be free…it’s really not my habit to intrude.” The voice changing growing softer and less filled with dark magic, “get yourself free…it grieves me so to see you in such pain." She turned in the men’s embrace, one hand to each of their faces as her eyes faded to green again.
With a little smile, “double cherry pie…I smell sex and candy, yeah.” Her tongue darted out and licked her dry lips to wet them. Sighing breathily she looked into dark black eyes, “who's that casting devious stares in my direction.” She kissed the man again. When the words from the song came back to her she pulled away from his cauldron smoke lips, and glanced at the blond haired younger man. Then she kissed the blond and he tasted of fire, "this is surely a dream."
“The time to hesitate is through,” she purred as the words penetrated, “try to set the night on fire.” Then she pulled the dark haired man to her again and demanded entry to his mouth with her tongue, tasting the magic that he wore as a shroud. When she pulled away with a sigh and a smile, “common baby light my fire.” Then she pulled the blond in for the same treatment. After she released his mouth she purred, “don’t think it will be untrue…Fire.”
The next song pulled her from the men’s arms, the beat demanded that she move and the sun was calling her back to the coven. She backed away slowly catching the eyes of the two men, “got me on my knees, I’m begging please, darlin’ won’t you ease my worried mind.” After she was a few paces away she said, “what’ll you do when you get lonely, when nobodies waiting by your side.” She kept eye contact with those soulful black eyes as she walked backward through the vestiges of the magical battle, “please don’t say, you’ll never find a way,” her voice carried over the grizzly remains of wizards and witches.
At the edge of the battle where she had first noticed his passion the track changed and she sang in a soft but true voice, “My heart knows me better than I know myself, so I’m gonna let it do all the talking…I felt a little fear upon my back, I said don’t look back and just keep on walking.” Then she turned around and disappeared into the shadows with the music flowing through her mind, like the magic flowed through her body. As she sang, “Now I got a hole for the world to see.” Then she closed her eyes and let her feet take her back to recovery.
As the sun rose and the light giving rays warmed her closed eyes, she sighed, “Why can’t anyone see, I just wanna live; don’t really care about the things that they say, don’t really care about what happens to me.” Then in a magic glow she disappeared from the country road and reappeared outside the bounds of the covens land, “I just wanna’ live, stop your messing around…better make some plans.” Her voice repeated the words as they became a part of her.
