Author's notes: Sunnydale is after the third season before Season four Its summer and Xander hasn’t left for his road trip yet. But he is planning one.

Hp is after the 6th book but I’m making some changes to it. First Snape never promised Malfoy’s mother anything so he did not kill Dumbledore. Draco tried but Dumbledore was able to talk him out of it. The death eaters who were with Draco tried to kill Dumbledore and Draco turned against them and took one and the order were able to get the rest

Privet Drive – First day of summer vacation

Harry sat on his bed blinking back tears. As he looked at the boxes that the Order had sent over. In his hand was a short letter that had arrived with the boxes.

Dear Harry

While cleaning the Orders headquarters I came across some of your parents things.
Hope you enjoy them

Hey Harry. Mum and Dad got permission for you to come stay
with us again this summer so we’ll be seeing you soon. Don’t let
them get you down. Got to go before mum notices that we
stopped the owl before she could leave with the letter.

Ron and Ginny

He set the letter down and walked over to the closest box. After setting it on the bed he opened it and started pulling things out. It appeared to be filled with things from when they went to Hogwarts. The golden snitch that he had seen his father playing with in Snape’s memories. Dried flowers in a box. With a small slip of paper that read, Yale Ball 6th year. Went with James. A photo album with pictures of his parents but also had other things like movie stubs, dried flowers, tickets to concerts and qudditch matches. They had tags too with things like Our third Date, Match was boring but James kissed me.

After looking through everything in the first box he went to get the second one. This one was a lot lighter. Inside were three smaller boxes each a different color and they all had writing on the top. Letters from James was written on top of a red box. Letters from Mum, Dad and Petunia was written on the Green box. And on the light blue was Letters from Cousin Jessica.

“Cousin? What cousin? I though Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon were my only family. No one mentioned a cousin.” He read through all the letters, which seemed to start right after his mum went to Hogwarts and continued until right before they died. Jessica sounded nice and she had a son who was only a year older then Harry. “Why did no one mention her? And why couldn’t I have been sent to live with them?”

He started pacing around his room trying to figure out why no one ever mentioned her and why he was sent to the Dursleys if he had more family. Nicer family if he went by the letters. He thought about the fact that he had a cousin around his age. ‘I wonder what he’s like. Is he nice or like Dudley? I want to meet him. And Jessica.’ He paced some more ‘Well why shouldn’t I? Its Summer it’s the perfect time to met him plus if I don’t met him before long the war might really start and then I might never met him.’

“Okay so I’m going to go met my cousin. Now I just need to tell Dumbledore and the Order.”

Two week later- Order Headquarters

Harry glared at the Order members who were gathered around the kitchen table. He had told them a week ago that he wanted to go met his cousin. But they kept saying it was too dangerous.

“Harry we know you want to go but it’s just too dangerous. Maybe after all of … this is over you can go and met him.” Molly said as she placed breakfast on the table.

“After all of this? You mean the War? Voldemort trying to kill me? So when is it all going to be over? A year, five, ten? Will I still be alive when it ends? As for it being too dangerous. Well if you haven’t noticed my whole life is dangerous. So what’s a little more.” The order members looked at each other not really sure what to say but before they could think of anything Harry got up.

“I’m going. You can try to stop me but I will find a way. So maybe you should help me so it’s a little less dangerous. Because with or with out you, I’m going.” He walked out of the room then paused to call back to them. “I’ve sent a letter to Cousin Jessica. It should get there today or tomorrow. I’m leaving as soon as I get a reply or in seven days which ever happens first. So you better make up your minds and fast.”
