Chapter Three
Bellatrix fixed her robes and smiled at her reflection before cackling. Alexander had accepted her invitation. Humming, she looked at the clock and smiled. Mudblood or not, Harris was the only suitable husband material for miles (being the only partially magical (well demon magnet-y) human around) and she was too old to bare children, thus not sullying the Black and Lestrange name with half-blood children. At least she was sure she was, having forgotten when she was born. Besides, she thought, Alexander was too charming to be fully muggle.
Humming, she opened the door when she heard a knock. Seeing Alexander, she squealed and pulled him in. “You’ll just love me, I know you will.” She cackled. Xander looked nervous but lifted his arm to present her the bouquet of flowers he had managed to convince Willow to mojo him.
She squealed as she took them and shut door.
-------------------------------------------
Xander exited the door shaking. Although Bellatrix had been unusual, she was far one of the more normal dates he had had. Shaking his head, he looked behind him to see the witch smiling broadly. Xander noticed that it wasn’t so bad to look at her (although he would have to convince her the value of visiting the dentist).
All and all, it had been a good date. She hadn’t tried to eat him, spawn with him, use him for any nefarious purposes (as far as he knew of) and she was human! Albeit a slightly, alright, hugely insane but everyone had flaws didn’t they?
Xander shook his head, and hoped that Willow didn’t ask who his ‘date’ had been. She would only agree that he was indeed going crazy. Besides, he had another date next Friday (pending Apocalypse and Life-threatening injury/emergency).
