“Hey man!” Gunn greeted his cousin warmly.

“Man, look at you all respectable in that suit. Do you even remember how to hunt?”

Gunn’s eyes darkened. “I haven’t gone soft if that’s what you’re saying.”

“You left your crew for a vampire.”

Gunn’s stance turned stiff. “It’s not what you-“

“Oh, it’s exactly what I think. You’ve let one of *them* live.”

Before Gunn could react, a gunshot rang out. His vision started to blur as he looked up.

“But-- Gordon, we were like brothers.”

Gordon looked down at Gunn with no visible emotion. “And that’s why I did it.”
