And So, It Really Begins!
Disclaimer: Despite her delusions of grandeur neither Aomizuoko nor Aomizuoko’s beta owns more than a DVD here and there, and a laptop each.
A/N: Oh my god! I am so sorry that it took this long to get the next chapter out! My muse stopped talking to me, but it just started again. Again, I’m so sorry and you should totally thank Friendly Person for reminding me, and also for her great work as my beta on this chapter. She helped out a lot, especially in the first three paragraphs! Thanks a lot FP-CHAN!

He had been running for a while now, heart pounding and lungs screaming for air breath as the creatures stalked him. They did not know that he knew, but he did. He saw the glowing eyes, heard the scratchy breath and knew he had to get out, quickly. The forest, big and black with tree limbs hanging unnaturally high as the leaves rustled with the creatures, surrounded him indefinitely, making him feel rather claustrophobic. His heart pounded as the wolves approached almost noiselessly. Darkness surrounded him although it shouldn’t. The sun had awoken hours ago, but it didn’t reach the forest floor, for the forest was dark and dreary and held creatures thought to exist only in human imaginations. Maybe it was his imagination. Then again, he was a Winchester. Winchesters were hunters, are still rather good hunters if he had any say, of the very creatures the humans feared so it couldn’t be his imagination.
The child’s laughter hung in the air and he stopped. It was there again, the laughing and the children in those weird dresses. What was this place? Harry didn’t know. Heart still pounding, Harry made his way to the other side, to the heart. The creature looked up at him from its perch on one of the tree’s roots. Eight legged and slightly hairy, the creature looked at the human and came forward the feet giving a soft clink as they hit the ground. Harry ran again, feeling naked with out his weapons. He wanted to cry, but he knew better. You couldn’t show any weakness to those you hunt. He’d cry later, if later ever came.
He came to the other side within the hours, not bothering to check if the creature was fallowing him. A stern face, and the old man from before was in front of him now, pointing the stick at him.
Great, thought Harry,
just freaking great and suddenly he knew nothing but the darkness as it surrounded him and his body folded forward as he fell to the earth.

Oasis Hospital
“Dad,” Dean was saying, “You can’t be serious!”
John Winchester looked grim as he looked his first son in the eye. “I am Dean. We have to.” He said, “We
have to.”
“No!” Said Dean, “We don’t, I’m not leaving him!”
John stared at Dean, his eyes hard as his jaw clenched, his hands pulsing as his nails dug into the rough skin. “Yes,” growled John, “you are. We don’t have time to sit here and wait for him to wake up. We aren’t the only ones we have to think about, Dean!” He hadn’t told Dean about the wizards yet, about Harry. Harry was a lost cause, but he’d find a way, he had to. However, Dean needed to be out of the way, where the wizards and the demons couldn’t get to him. Which meant that they had to keep hunting, and yes, even leave Sam. As much as he didn’t want too, John new that his baby boy would be alright, that he’d understand. He’d be angry sure, but this was what they had to do. Winchesters protected their own. Sam was protected, Harry was not and Dean needed to understand that.
“I know that dad! But this is Sammy! I’m not leaving him.” The words were ground out, anger clear in the features.
“You don’t have a choice.” Said John, turning away from Dean. “I’m leaving Oklahoma in an hour, and you’re coming with me.” John left no room for argument as he turned and left the waiting room in order to see his other son.
