Disclaimer: I own nothing but these words I write.

It was cold, so damn, cold. The snow covered everything, and ice became a blanket over all things. People were screaming before, but it had grown silent not too long ago. Faith stared at the white, and knew that this would be her end. There was no out-running mother nature. The boys beside her knew it too, Sam with his girl, her watcher, Dawn and Dean was alone. They huddled against each other to keep warm, but death was inevitable. She and Dean tried to keep the kiddies calm, but there was no use. So they made the best out of what they could.

“So,” Dean said, voice calm like always. “looks like we’re gonna die.”

“Seems so.” Faith said.

“Its funny you know, with the work we do, you’d think it’d be a demon that killed us.” Sam, the younger, yet equally hot one said.

“Instead is mother-fucking-nature. Willow is just gonna love this.” Dawn chimmed in, sounding a little too eager, a little too…everything. Then her voice wavered, and Dawn looked to be in tears, “I hope Buffy’s okay.” She said, her voice soft.

“Aint’ nothing; to worry bout’ Dawn-patrol. They’re off in another world, on that mission thing, remember?” Dean asked, trying to comfort someone he’d come to see as a little sister.

Sam, Dawns boyfriend as of six weeks ago, held the girl closer as they huddled against each other. The cold was coming, they didn’t have much time left.

“Yeah,” Said Dawn, “I remember.”

They didn’t know it, but Faith could see the boys shivering. The cold was coming, and Death would take them soon.

Huddled against each other, the four froze. They would be together forever.
