Cravings

A/N: Since everyone likes Knocked Up so well, I’m going to continue it, but it’s going to be more toward the line of unconnected drabbles. Hope you enjoy this first installment and I’ll have many more to come!

Dis: I don’t own Faith the Vampire Slayer or SPN

Pairing: Faith/Sam

Note: In this first chapter, Faith is four months along---doesn’t mean that in the next she’ll be five months or whatever. I could just go back in time and have Chapter 2 be when she’s three months... Just so you know. My mind doesn’t work in chronological order, sometimes when I write a story I have the ending in mind first.... so yeah, enjoy!

Cravings

“A corndog,” she said, eyes lighting up while thinking of her favorite food. “With mustard and see if they got any ice cream. Something minty. Tacos! Oh, and watermelon!”

“Okay...” Sam furrowed his brows while his four-month pregnant girlfriend sauntered up to him. Was it wrong of him to still find her attractive? Especially when she licked her lips like that? “Is that all?”

“For now,” she said, hands resting on her stomach, which was peeking out from one of her larger t-shirts she had for working out. The sweats she was wearing were almost too small and Sam made a mental note to get her a new pair. Of course he had to remember to cut off the tag so that she didn’t freak out at him like before when buying her pants she still refused to wear. “Junior here needs his food.”

“Still think it’s a boy?” asked Sam, running his hand through her hair for a moment before going to get his coat.

“Yeah,” said Faith as she settled on a large chair. “I do. I mean it has to be a boy, what with how sick I’ve been."

“Could be a girl,” said Sam. “Maybe a little Slayer baby.”

“Or a psychic baby,” countered Faith who then frowned at the thought. “This kid is gunna be messed up...”

"Well we could always find out," he said, hinting again that he wanted to know.

"No!" she said. "I mean, look, is it wrong for me to want it to be a surprise?"

"No, I think it's adorable," he said, making her frown.

"Don't call me that," she warned. "I'm not adorable."

Sam smiled then chuckled while shrugging on his coat. He got his keys out of his pocket then walked to the chair to bend and place a kiss on her temple.

“Whatever we get,” he whispered. “They’ll be special no matter what. Especially with you as a mother.”

“Stop it,” she said, voice getting a little soft and airy. “Don’t make me cry or I swear I’ll kick your ass and not even feel sorry about it.”

“I love you, Faith,” he said sincerely.

“Damn it!” she said, eyes watering and she quickly rubbed them with a closed fist. “I hate you!”

“No you don’t,” he said, kissing her lips then pulling away. “I’ll go get your corndog.”

The feel of his lips against hers caused something else in her to stir. She smiled while getting out of the chair. She wasn’t too large yet so her movements were still somewhat fluid.

“Actually,” she said, slinking her arms around his neck. “I’m craving something else right now...”

They lay in bed, her back pressed against his chest. His hand moved up and down her arm while his lips pressed against her shoulder. She twisted her head around to face him and he just moved his lips from her shoulder to her cheek.

“Better?” he asked, pulling her in closer.

“Hm...” She closed her eyes at the feel of him surrounding her. “Yeah...”

“Good,” he said, settling against her, ready to fall asleep.

“Hey Sam?” she said, shifting to face him.

“Hm?” he asked, eyes opening to meet hers.

“Go get me my corndog.”
