I Was Pharaoh
Timeline: Directly after Daniel ascended at the end of season five

“This is where you can stay until you become more understanding of your new position in the world.” Oma Desala said as she led Daniel into a room that looked like a bedroom.
The room was nothing special. It did look rather comfortable. One wall caught Daniel’s immediate attention. The wall was an entire bookcase filled with books of different sizes and bindings. “What are those?” He asked.
“They are you.” Oma said. At Daniel’s confused look she continued to speak. “A man cannot walk once down life’s road but must walk many times til he understands why he walked in the first place.”
“You’re talking about reincarnation? But the Buddhist’s belief because in the Hindu beliefs one can never get out of the wheel of life.” Daniel said thoughtfully.
Oma picked a book of the shelf and placed it in Daniel’s hands. “This is when you first came to be. To know all that you are and all that you were is contained in these books. You have lived many lifes and done many things both good and bad. Read and find out.” She bowed her head slightly and left the room closing the door behind her.
Daniel sat down on the bed and stared at the book for a few moments before opening it. Instead of starting at the beginning he decided to start on a random page. Then he started reading.
“Never again. He will never again know my loyalty. I will never stand for my god again. He will pay for what he did to my brother, my father, and all those people from times past. Never again will a child of Egypt bow down to the god Ra. He will fall, he and all his brethren. And he will know that it was I that brought him to his downfall. He will forever reap meeting the Tau’ri. I will send him back through his damned gate and seal him away. And the name Ahmose will become a curse among his people.”
Daniel stared at the book in shock, “I was a pharaoh.”
“And a major pain in the butt who still never does what he’s told.” There was a young man standing in the doorway that Daniel had failed to notice. The man was obviously Egyptian and wearing what looked to be authentic clothes from the 7th dynasty in Egypt. Daniel’s mouth started to drop open as he began to recognize the man he was staring at. “Hey baby brother, how ya been?”
“Kamose.”
