Student Attacked At Hogwarts By Housemates

Early this morning, the Daily Prophet learned that fifth year Draco Malfoy was brutally attacked by his fellow Slytherin classmates late Monday morning. The young Malfoy spent two days at St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries before being sent back to Hogwarts per the patients’ instructions.
According to a nurse who refused to be named, Mr. Malfoy sustained numerous hexes, many of them illegal, as well as at least two Cruciatus Curses. The amount of damage will make it almost impossible for the fifteen year old to get around Hogwarts to take classes for roughly a month. Nevertheless, he refused to leave the Castle, having reportedly made arrangements to do his class-work with an as of yet unidentified tutor. Additionally, the young Malfoy will be removed from the Slytherin house dormitories and will receive private rooms for his safety.
In an official announcement, four students are facing expulsion from Hogwarts following the attack; Pansy Parkinson, Vincent Crabbe, Gregory Goyle, and Theodore Nott will face the Board of Directors Friday to determine whether or not they will be allowed to remain. A fifth student, Blaise Zabini has been removed from Hogwarts entirely and will reportedly be attending Durmstrang after the holidays.
Malfoy is the son of Lucius Malfoy and Narcissa Black-Malfoy of Wiltshire. The couple, who refused to comment, were reportedly disowned by their son recently, who reportedly told Headmaster Albus Dumbledore that he refused to be involved in the dangers they had engaged in. These allegations come only two weeks after rumors surfaced that the Malfoy Seniors were and had always been supporters of He Who Must Not Be Named.
