A/N: With the high first response and the availability I have today I’ve decided to push out chapter two. I’m glad you guys like this so far! :0) Also, a reminder that Tru graduated at age 22 in 2003, so right now for this to work it would have to be 2008 so she’ll be 27 along with Faith.

Dis: I don’t own SPN, BTVS, or Tru Calling

Pairings: DT, SF

Chapter Rating: PG-16

Tru quickly moved out of bed and ran to the bathroom, she had gotten used to the idea of showering at night now due to her gift and luckily all she had to do was pull a brush through her hair and do a quick job with her make-up. Her outfit hung on the back of her door so she quickly pulled on the sleeveless red top and knee length white skirt. Racing back to the kitchen she offered a smile to Harrison who came waltzing though her door.

“Hey Sis, happy birthday!”

“Oh God Harry!”

“What?” he asked, surprised by her outburst. “What’s wrong, Tru?”

“We, we have…”

“Wait, is this one of those days?” He rolled his eyes, tossing his hands up in the air. “Two birthdays, Tru? How lucky can you get?”

“Harry…”

“Well there’s no sense in you opening this now since you know what it is,” he said, tossing the present onto her island counter.

“And I love it,” she said, trying to get him to pay attention. “Now listen to me…”

“What?” he asked, face now serious when seeing how upset she really was. “What happened Tru? Oh God, what’d I do now?”

“No, no it isn’t you!” Harrison Davies sighed in relief while shrugging off his brown leather jacket. “It’s our sister.”

“Mere? What happened?”

“No, our OTHER sister…”

He stilled on his way to the refrigerator, turning around so fast that he almost knocked over Tru’s electric can opener, which he caught quickly. He tried to find a sign of humor in her eyes, as if seeing if she was trying to pull a fast one on him. When seeing no signs of laughter, the bomb she dropped finally went off.

“What?!”

“Are you sure she looked that much like you?” asked Harrison as they drove to the designated motel. “I mean for all we know it was just someone with familiar characteristics or something.”

“I saw her, Hare, with my own eyes. She was me,” said Tru as they passed through the downtown area. Tru had quickly looked through the yellow pages before coming to the address of the motel, which was about twenty minutes from where she lived. Luckily, after losing his previous car to the ponies, Harrison managed to get another form of transportation with the money he had left working with their father. “Oh God, how could Dad do this?”

“Why are you only pointing fingers at him? Mom had to of known too.”

“I don’t see Mom keeping a sister from us, Harry,” said Tru, sounding angry as she turned her head to speak to him. “I see Dad in some sick, twisted way: doing this to us. I mean you know how suspicious he’s been lately with Jack and OH GOD! Jack! He’s going to try and kill her, Harrison!”

“Not if we can help it,” said Harrison as he pushed on the gas a little harder. “I have to wonder why it is he would keep her from us. What would that accomplish?”

“I don’t know, but once this is all figured out, we’re going to have a long talk with daddy dearest.”

“Do we have to?” asked Harrison, the memory of being humiliated by his father over a year ago still fresh on his mind. He had sworn never to step foot in that building again, or ever try to get a job again either. “Can’t we just send an angry messenger or something?”

“Harrison…”

“Fine, fine,” said Harrison as they pulled into the parking lot. He pulled next to a sleek Chevy Impala that he admired before cutting the engine to his car. He twisted around in his seat to stare at his sister, who was looking a little lost. “Tru?”

“What’re we doing Harry? I mean, do we just knock on the door and say ‘hey sis’? I mean it doesn’t work like that. We don’t know her, she doesn’t know us…”

“Tru, you’re over thinking things again,” said Harrison as he opened his door and Tru reluctantly followed, pulling her shoulder bag around her shoulders before slamming the door closed. Her high heels clicked lightly against the pavement and she nervously patted down her hair while she walked. “Now, how are we going to find her?”

“She looks like me, so…” Tru headed toward the main office. “Let’s see if we can get somewhere in here.”

“See? This is why you went to college.”

“You would’ve just knocked on doors, huh?”

“Hey, I’d have found her eventually.” Harrison opened the door to the office and followed Tru inside. The office smelled like lemon cleaner but still looked a little on the grungy side. An old black and white television had a fuzzy picture of Drew Carey on the Price is Right and a fan was slowly circulating air above their heads. Seated at the desk was a balding man and when he saw Tru he gave her an uneasy smile before clearing his throat and pulling at the collar of his long sleeved, blue button up shirt.

“Ah, Mrs. Tyler, up so early?”

“Uh, yeah,” said Tru. “I, uh, went to go find my friend here and locked myself out.”

“Oh, what a shame… Mr. Tyler wasn’t there to help you out?”

“He didn’t hear us knocking,” said Harrison. “Heavy sleeper and all.”

“Well I do have a spare, will need it back before you check out.”

“Of course,” said Tru as she waited for the man to riffle through his desk. The key to room number three was handed to them, a red, plastic shaped shoe connected to the ring. Tru offered a smile and a wave before exiting, Harrison right on her heels.

“Way to play it smooth, Sis.”

“I handled it!”

“You were showing nothing but nerves, the guy was giving you weird looks…And Mrs. Tyler? Sounds like we have ourselves a brother-in-law.”

“Right,” said Tru as she stepped up to room number three, playing with the key ring. “So… Ready?”

“Yeah,” said Harrison, hands moving inside his pockets while he shifted from foot to foot, eyes never leaving the bright gold number three. “I am… You?”

“Sure.” Tru stared at the door much like her brother before taking a deep breath, lifting her hand, and knocking…very, very softly.

“What the hell was that?” asked Harrison.

“Shut up,” muttered Tru as she added two more quick but loud knocks. “Satisfied?”

“Sure.” They heard shuffling behind the door and both stiffened as the door slowly opened. A tall man answered with disheveled brunette hair and sleepy blue-green eyes wearing pajama pants and nothing else. Tru took a moment to admire him and had to admit that if this was her sister’s guy, she had great taste. If, indeed, this woman was her sister…

He took one look at Tru and his eyes widened before his head whipped behind him, then back forward to Tru.

“What the…”

“Who’s at the door?” asked another, more feminine, voice that sounded a lot like Tru, making Tru swallow nervously while trying to peek around the guy blocking her view.

“Uh…”

The man stepped back, opening the door wider and Tru could now see into the room that looked like it’d been dropped in the middle of the Wizard of Oz. The carpet was a tacky gold and the beds, one of which was occupied by another man giving her the stare down, looked to have a floral print on them. The light fixtures looked to be an emerald green and the wall had a mural of the Land of Oz with Dorothy and her crew skipping down the sidewalk.

“Faith? You might want to come see this.”

Tru’s stare didn’t waiver as a girl of her height, weight, and build came to the door in red sleeping shorts and a black tank top, hair wrapped up in a towel. She stopped in her tracks when seeing Tru and her eyes widened, jaw dropping when seeing her twin standing in the doorway. Tru and Faith met each other's gazes, frozen on the spot until Faith finally found her words.

“What the FUCK?!”

“Well,” said Harrison, head going from his sister Tru, to the other girl Faith. “This is weird…”
