She was dressed for the holidays.

She was wearing a flowing muggle skirt, made from red velvet, and a v-necked emerald green shirt.

But the real kicker, the reason that he was standing there gaping at her instead of introducing himself to Fred’s cousin was her hair.

In fact, he wasn’t sure that hair was the right word for what was on top of her head.

It looked like spun silk, although he’d never seen silk in such vivid colors. The strands of read and green matched her dress beautifully, and the sparkly silver stands brought out her deep blue eyes.

“Let me guess,” she said to Fred, who was standing next to her mesmerized boyfriend. “He’s never seen a metamorphmagus before.”
